Yesterday my new OfficeJet 7310. So I grabbed it out of the box and wanted to install it under Linux..

But… I couldn’t configure it using the menu… it wants to install it via the Windows-tools (or Apple tools) 
So I decided to install the free VMWare Server and install Windows. At this point Windows is installed… now I have to add all additional packages… On the other hand it is easy to have windows in VM… especially for troubleshooting and testing stuff for the windows users I support.
